So me and my group of friends are gonna start up 1750 points. the armies i may be facing are orks, eldar, dark eldar, necrons, marines........ pretty much everything.

Lemme know what you guys think bc Im not too sure if i like it or not...

1. you HAVE to take a sargent in a Long fang squad so its either 6 LFs with 5 MLs or 5 LFs with 4 MLs

other then that, its not a bad list... Im not a huge fan of TWC, but I know people like them.

Your 7 GH squad is how I set up all my GH squads in general for my tourny lists.

the dreadnaught I wouldnt be sold on either, its got some nice long range fire power, but it seems to be very lacking for close range support, you could easily do without that dread and put something else in for the points.

i used army builder so i forgot to type the Sgt in they are full missile launcher squads of 6 w 5 missile launchers each and a Sgt

but yeah, like I said, the TWC is probably the biggest point sink you currently have, thats what 340 points? cuz with 250 points less then you my tourny list has more models. (its a 1500 point list, look it up)

TWC are for HIGH level games and if you use them you can't just fling them in a list and call it "good". Drop the TWC and go for something else. This list is kind of confused as to how it wants to deal with problems; you have some high mobility glass cannons(three), some troops(not enough to make it count), static fire bases, and a really expensive bat(twc). Figure out what you want your list to do, but keep in mind that it can't do everything.

it's a pretty solid list.

the Dreadnought seems out of place, and the low leadership of the TWC could be a detriment.

Focus it a bit more. Go troop heavy, razorspam or twc death ouch, but not all of them.

Agree with Ahab... more focus... You will do fine and probably beat most non-optimized lists... but it will be more painfully obvious when you face a focused/optimized list.

If I was to go troop heavy what would the list look like? How many grey hunters would u put in a rhino 7 and a wolf guard?

8-9 with a pf wolf guard or 10.

troop heavy would be 3 - 5 squads of 8-9 GH with a PF GH or 10 GHs with both Special weapons. Make sure they always have MotW and Wolf Standard if your going to use them in that fashion since those combined make GH a very dangerous force.

i thought about ditching the land speeders and small grey hunter squad to throw another fang pack in there w a razorback as well as making some grey hunter squads full squads of 10. IDK you guys have more experience than me so tear it apart again thanks again for your time plus rep to everyone!!!!!!

looking much better, Im not a big fan of the smaller group myself, the speeders are fine though, I have used speeders to a VERY good effect if used right

indeed much better. the small group is obviously an objective holder, though you could leave it with not wargear/squad upgrades, but your current set up isn't bad for a sit at home squad.

i am really undecisive with these lists i keep making them and i like em all lol what do you guys think? what do you guys usually roll at 1750 for competition? But seriously i want to thank you guys for your time and experience i really take everyones advice seriously.... :-D

Just won a 1750 with my wolves at my local tourney store, my main grey hunter troups configuration(s) consists of:

5 grey hunters: Meltagun, PW, MOTW, WolfStandard
1 Wolf guard: PowerFist, Combi-Melta
Dedicated transport: Razorback, LasPlas (you can use other weapons but lasplas is nasty)

Seems like an excessive amount of points for squads who shouldn't see combat.
