Hello every one, I'd just like to find out what people think to my current incarnation of my Codex marine list, some of it is still to be bought so there is a degree of flexibility to my spending. I did try this out the other day and worked very well, i just feel it needs to be tweeked a little.

So hear goes.

HQ
Space Marine Captain Powerfist, Combi-Plasma, Helfire ammuntion

It seems fairly well balanced, lots of anti-tank, a bit of anti horde, and a fairly tough HQ. My only problem with it is if it your tanks get hit by anti-tank close combat, you're pretty much toast. A clever opponent will knock out a vehicle then use it's wreckage as cover before charging into the next vehicle. And since your Dready's have no close combat killage, monsterous creatures will tear them apart without a challenge.
I think that might be your weakest point. Dealing with monsterous creatures since you have nothing that can truly knock them out with certainty. And to me the Mulitmelta's seem kind of like a waste of points since you'll be moving around a lot in order to get close enough to fire them from the rhino. So they'll pretty much be out of the fight for at least half of the game.

Space Marines deal with MC's best by shooting them... A lot... Torrent of fire works a lot better than CC with something that has a higher initiative than you and rolls 2d6 to pen your dread or has EW, a bunch of attacks, and a bunch of wounds....

Might switch the Razorback with a Rhino so that your command squad plasma can shoot out of the vehicle.

Only concern is that you'll have a tough time with armies that good movement... your threat range is pretty limited... but on the other hand, nobody will want to get within 12"
