Alright so I was cutting out my SM horde from their sprues and I just about finished with the chest when I noticed something very strange. I looked at the building manual for my Tactical Squad and it's showing the weapons missing their pistol grips, with them being clenched in the hand of a hand. That's fine and dandy until I take a peek at my sprues and see that their hands clench weapon grips like they should, but ALL of the weapons included on the sprues have their grips intact. Wtf? lol. So I'm just wondering if this is normal because I hadn't purchased a SM Battleforce in the past? I know it just takes a snip to remove the grip, but what's the point of instructions that don't match the pieces..

Makes it handy for modelling ammo dump stratagems and the like. The new Ork kit doesn't have pistol grips as the guns are already attached to the hand so you can't really make cool stuff as easily any more unless you oop it up.

That's a shame.. you would think they would try to be more universal with all their sprue molds, but it is GW.

That does give me a good idea for some cosmetic terrain bits when I finish with my current map build and start to plan things out for my cityscape.
