>> Being a avid marine fan, as most of you know, I am wanting to make a smallish Soul Drinkers army. I know the colour scheme, and I know they have been excommunicated. Question is:

>> Do I use the marine codex, or do I use the new Chaos dex. Thing is with the Drinkers, is they are still loyal in their eyes, not like Red Corsairs who are not  . So any help on how, what and why will be appreciated.

From what I know of the Souls Drinkers I say Loyalist. I havn't read the books so I'm not sure on this but the general rule I use with that sort of thing is "Do they use deamons?"

- Yes: Codex CSM
- No: Codex SM

Simple and easy.

You alternately use the Legions of the Damned rules. Not Lost and the Damned, Legions. Variant SM chapters that basically are SM's with minor oddities like 5+ Inv saves for all infantry models, rending talons for certain models, etc. Couldn't tell you where exactly to find the rules but they might be just what you are looking for.

I would use the SM codex, for the boss(cant remember his name) give him a jetback but model him with the spider legs.
