I would like to start commissions after I've got really good at paint (not before hand) I would like some advice and also any specialist equipment that I would need please heresy you're my only hope.

It depends on what you want to do. Good brushes and paint are needed. You could also get an airbrush which is great when you have to paint big models. If you have put together and painted models before than you have most of the stuff. Masking fluid and blue tack are handy.

I would say get a good camera and a good light set up to show off your painting is probably the most important as that will bring in most of your commisions. Unless you are like me and you just paint what you like and then sell it on Ebay. It is a good way to do it. I buy unpainted armies and figures then paint them up a unit at a time and sell them on ebay. So if I want to try a new technique or method I practice on these models and sell them. It is a good way to make some money.
