I'm not bragging here but something happened. My skill in painting has jumped. Lots of people are saying so.

I put together this marine and started painting it in a random scheme. I did 7 layers on the eyes and even inked them after the rest of the face was done.
For the first time, I didn't screw up the highlights on the face either. :victory:

I'm so happy.

This is what I've done so far.

Can't say you have improved cause I have never seen stuff you did before, but that is a pretty damn good paint job so far, keep it up.

Well done mate the step up is so rewarding and your right it just comes from no where i've not really seen your previous work but this is good. Your highlights are in the right place which is always good
For the eyes try painting them like gems and just hightlight the bottom parts of them, this will drasticly change the face (in a good way)

Keep it up and take that next step :eek:k:

Now wheres my next step up the painting ladder
