(sorry for the long title, but an army like this needs a joke for an introduction...)

Primary Detachment: Dark Angels

Belial, TH/SS

DW Terminators
4+1, TH/SS/CML

DW Terminators
4+1, TH/SS/CML

Mortis Dreadnought
x2 TLAC

Mortis Dreadnought
x2 TLAC

Nemesis Strike Force Detachment:

Librarian
ML3, Liber Dominca, Hammer

Terminators
4+1, Justi w/ Falchions, x2 Halberds, Stave, Hammer, Psycannon

Terminators
4+1, Justi w/ Falchions, x2 Halberds, Stave, Hammer, Psycannon

Nemesis Dreadknight
PT, Psycannon, Greatsword

Wolf Guard Void Claws Detachment:

Wolf Guard Terminators
4+1, All Wolf Claws

Because I want them all to not Scatter Detachment:

Inquisitor Taximus
Carapace, BP/CCW, +3 Servo Skulls

2000 points

So... 27 Terminators walk into a bar on turn one... well, not quite. The Angels and the Wolves are guaranteed turn 1. The Greys have a 66% chance of turn one. The Inquisitor spends most of the first turn hiding and praying I go first, and the dreadnoughts are there to shoot down air support, basically.

I don't actually have any critique, because by running pure Terminators with 2 Dreadnoughts and a Terminator wearing a big Terminator, with no kind of ranged anti-tank at all except a bare handful of Str7 AP irrelevant bullets, it's fairly obvious that you have massive balls and really don't give a shit.

I approve greatly.

Don't forget the hammers. Lots of hammers. They can walk up to tanks and hit them with the hammers.

Agreed. I'm just not sure where to find said points. Lowering a few Psycannons down to Incinerators maybe, dropping the teleporter on the Termiterminator, since he'll Deep Strike in anyway, etc.

I think you might want to see if you can scrape together the points for an Aegis line with Comms Relay. That would bring the Knights nearly to 100% chance.
This idea got me thinking. What about dropping the Mortis dreadnoughts for a Firestorm Redoubt with Magos machine spirit and Comms relay

That's... actually not a bad idea. I'm not very familiar with the fortifications. But that seems pretty solid. 2 lascannons firing at BS3 twin linked gives decent chances to shoot down air support, and the Inquisitor hides in there to bring the rest of the army down immediately. Of course, it forces the list to be even further dependent on going first, since only the Inquisitor starts on the board.

It's been my experience that when confronted with a small and out of sight (or way tough fortification, I supose) on the board they tend to go second just so there's something to shoot. Plus going second has its own reward in having the end of the last turn.

So when I post my serious lists, I just need a good punchline so people will respond. Check. :)

Sadly, I really do like this idea. I love small model lists, and Terminators are great. I'd probably design all of the Terminators to look similar... maybe all Grey Knights in strange colors, then have some with Angel shields, etc etc.

Ya know what they need to make? A Knight with a comm relay. To heck with fortifications!

So I've been doing more research on the Redoubt... with the new Skyfire rules, it only snap-shots on non fliers. Also, the Automated guns means it's not firing Interceptor.

Is it worth it?

True. But sadly, Mortis only gets to exist in DA and C:SM. It can get me my Comm Relays, and cost as much as the 2 Mortis... but I'm also looking at it in general. it seems like it used to be better than it is now, but sadly it's just not as good as it could be... and the required rules means it can't be 'fixed'. No firing at ground units, no using interceptor... it's literally ONLY there to be an anti-air turret (which is funny since you can trade out for Punisher cannons).
