Pity, because I could see that being a massive seller.

To be honest i dont think that 30k was too much different to 40k apart from the primarchs kicking about? at least with these new armours you can give your army the look and feel of the era, would be good if they did 30k period though

I'm sure a lot of 30K players will use the new FW armour for that, but I think its just intended for veteran squads (I'm certainly tempted to pick some up for a Deathwatch/Sternguard unit). Having said that, with the Mark IIb Land Raider knocking around as well, it wouldn't surprise me if FW are cashing in on the interest in the Heresy. *If* these kits sell well enough, then they *might* at some point in the future do a Heresy supplement, but I don't think its got beyond the *maybe* stage yet.

MkIIb Land Raider is post heresy. The heresy era Land Raider is the MkIIA.

Kastorel-Novem, I thought was going to be a new campaign - it certainly feels unfinished, and the next 2 IA books are Badab War confirmed - this means that it will be at least IA-11 before they even look Pre-Heresy, perhaps even IA-12 if they continue with the Deliverance campaign.

I just had lunch in Bugman's Bar, and decided afterwards to treat myself to a set of the Mk.III 'Iron' armour; should be fun Nurglifying that stuff for my elite Death Guard squad  I'd have had some of those Phobos-pattern bolters too if they hadn't been out of stock of them today...
