Hey again everybody!

I was reading about night-missions and came to wonder:

Since when have the SMs lost their Nightvision?

IIRC, at least the Power Armours had incorporated Night vision goggles, right?

Thanks for any clarification.

AFAIK there has never been Acute Senses for all Space marines. Only the Space Pups.

In Rogue Trader marines came with infravision, autosenses, and a bunch of other stuff. Second edition did away with the more esoteric wargear, third edition did away with even more.

Its pretty much spotlights or nothing these days for the vanilla SM's, I mean how sad is it they dont even get auspexes anymore?

Although the WH40K books tend to incorporate things like Terror Sight into the Space Marine battle armour, this is pretty unfair in Night-fight games so GW probably just left it out for fairness sake.

IIRC, terror sight is something entirely different.

Fluffwise, space marines can see really well in the dark.

The spacewolves can do that even more due to dog-like senses.

Space Wolves get this represented, because they need to be unique ;)
