Well, i now have a librarian with a familiar, BUT i don't have a model. I would like to do something besides the Dev squad box familiars and make it distinct for my army(Raven Guard).

All ideas welcome.
-By the way I've already seen the GW familiar and i don't want to spend $30-ish on the one bit i need.

Maybe you could use the Coteaz's double headed eagle although you would be getting a ton of other stuff as well.

the scout sniper box comes with some animal and human skulls u could use alose one of my friends ork boxs came with some nice skulls

The servo-skulls are the most obvious and easiest way to model familiars, but if you're not into them, that's fine. You could try Reaper Miniatures' familiar blisters... they have assorted animals, creepy things, etc.
