I am kitting out my SM command squad and HQ for close quarter combat.
It says in the codex that 'any' veteran in a command squad can replace there bolt gun with a pistol and close combat weapon, if they are bike mounted replacing this still means they have a twin linked bolter but also get the +1 bonus when they assault for having 2 close combat weapons. which means every veteran when assaulting gets +1 attack for hammer of wrath, 2 base attacks, 1 for charging and 1 for having close combat weapons.
I am reading this rule correctly?

... in addition to the rule, bikes are relentless (I believe), so can they rapid fire their bolt guns and still attack with the plus 1 bonus for two close combat weapons?
