Simple answer, no because it will blow up first turn as you have no other armour.

Ok, looking over this list, I like it... mostly

Take some shoota squads to soften up squads before your choppas get there.

Take off some PK's from the nobs and add more nobs with the points (2 is optimal, 3 max, I would go with 2 in this list)

remove the burna from the big mek, he will die as soon as he gets into combat before he gets an attack.

Your only trouble with this list is you will have trouble moving around the board.

Generally if you have over 100 orks (at a stretch 120 orks) on the board you will have trouble moving them around, and avoiding Pie Plate scatter. A good way to handle this is take grot squads, they are cheap, 19 w/runtherder is only 64 Points and they will take the back objective and not leave a 220 point unit behind.

Anyway, list is solid, I would also consider 8-10 Lootaz as antitank

but Gazz has the "auto 6 2 turn whaaagh!" that could help me move up, and i like my PK for anti tank and MEQ

while you are correct on both accounts, a smart enemy will only let you get in reach turn 3 or deny you the charge turn 2. I will be honest, I like slugga boyz, I just suggest some shoota boyz are great too.

I will say categorically that you are wrong about PK's though. Your ghaz squad on the charge will get 6 PK attacks from Ghaz and 20 PK attacks from the boyz, all striking last. That is overkill especially for the points cost of the PK's when you could get more nobs to put wounds on. But here is my favorite part, they are your only fire magnet IG will take most of your 545 point squad with 1 pie plate or a single squad of 10 SM will shoot them down before they get the charge.

In my SW army I take 3 ML and 2 Lascannons in 1 squad which you would not have a chance to take out before I take 3 rounds of shooting. Assuming I would only use them to shoot your nobs (remember they are just under a third of your army) Math suggests I kill 3-4 turn 1. Leaving you with not much.

Put basically, If you take out 3 of your PK's (and the burna off the big mek) you will have 3 extra nobs (or 6 wounds) which will also do damage to MEQ's (just not denying their saves) and still get 8 PK attacks + ghaz's 5

Your list, your rules. It can be effective, but I don't see them making combat. They wouldn't see combat against my wolves, probably not even against my orks

6 Nobz with 5 PK's in a squad with Ghazzy?
May as well save some points and make them more effective by changing them to Meganobz.

Thats with one squad of Kanz changed to Grotzookas too.



Then you have the option of adding Lootas, which is just a matter of removing one of the squads of Boyz, adding in a squad of 10 Lootas, and then spending the remaining points to bulk up the squads of Boyz to 30. If there are still points left then get an extra Loota or 2.
