Morning. I am interested in the purchase of the Tau Forgeworld models, Shas'o R'Alai and the XV88-2 Broadside, and was curious about the size comparison to typical Crisis Suit and Broadside models. As in, is the model 1 inch taller, 2 inch wider, etc... I have yet to see any at my gaming club and I was hoping the forgeworld models would stand above the rest of army besides the unique design.

Also, have you had any experience with putting either of them together?

Thanks much.

I haven't seen R'alia, but generally forge world models are about half an inch to an inch taller than their equivalents. Also note that all of the forge world suits come on dreadnought sized bases instead of terminator bases.

Iirc the hazard suits (with includes o'rly?) are slightly taller than crisis suits but the fw broadsides stand a little shorter than regular ones but only because of the weapon placement.

Ok. Thanks for the comments. I look forward to painting them both as they are amazing looking models (at least to me).
