Theres some nice conversions there, the GK based one is particluer is nice however I have two suggestions.
1. Thin your paints boy!!! and use even brush strokes all in the same direction.
2. Water down some inks and then ink your models and then go back over them with your base color to try get some basic depth of color going on. This is especially important with flesh.
They are a good start though.
