Calgar (looking for master of ambush)
Tigerius (loking for invisibilty)
Coteaz ( inq detachment - rolling sanctuary)
Comnand Squad, 4 melta, 5 shields, apothecary
Drop pod

2x 5 Scouts, shotguns, combi-melta
2x Landspeeder Strom, Heavy Flamer

3x Henchmen, 2 acolytes, 1 psyker (inq detachemnt)
3x Landraider Redeemer, Multi-melta, Psyflame

The HQ squad is costly. Almost 800 points. It is a hammer though. I'm aiming for warlord trait of ambush ( will get a few good ones regardless), invisibility on Tiggy, and maybe sanctid on Coteaz. I have lots of WC to play with for sure. The Psykers are adding to my count as well.

I want everything DSing or drooping in. The list is in your face and then we will see what the opponent has to counter all that dakka turn one.

how many points? 2000?
a thing to be noticed is that since LR are more than 6" wide is basicaly impossible to contest the objective they are sitting upon. Simply brutal.
The HQ is costly and imo, too much costly. btw it is hammer in the face.
do you really need Calgar? not to sound disrespectful but he's...ahem...not so good. You could just take a shield eternal artificer captain with hammer and be the same for less points, imo.

I'd try to scrape up the points to put a jocaero in each henchmen crew. The extra Heavy Flamer/Lascannon is often worth it. Also, I don't like loading up such a large percentage of the force in one unit. If they get bogged into hand to hand combat with a horde, they're held useless.

Beware MC and heavy Anti-Tank. A carnifex brood, for example, would put a land raider down in one turn. And Redeemers, while good against hordes, don't really frighten Carnifexes, and the like.

Apothecary's can't take Storm Shields. Once you upgrade them they stop being Veterans and start being an Apothecary, unfortunately meaning the line "any Veteran may take items from the Melee Weapons and/ or Ranged Weapons lists" no longer applies. Aside from that I love purpose this squad, though being a BA player predominantly I use a 10 man Assault squad with 2x MGs instead.

Aside from that I agree with Creon, since my gaming group never shifted away from a heavy vehicle presence in 6th my lists have always been heavy on the anti armour. Pretty sure I'd nom those Redeemers like they was chips and dip and I was ripped, but that's just because it's common to face stuff like this for me.

if you want scoreing land raiders, why not Black Templars? you could use the points the Inq ally for stronger marines.

course you have to drop calgar, or you could always just ally them in place of the inq guys
