Hello, my name is Itchimokuren. I was looking around for a website that could help me out with learning the game and stumbled in to this place. I live in Bellevue, Nebraska in the US and I don't have any in particler memories of high school that really matter. I was very to myself and studided to get out in to a university. I chose this name because it was something that i kind of made up when I needed a name for when I am online. I have played 40k when I was young, I believe that it was third edition. I stopped because I wanted to focus on school and because Tau was the new race that arrived. Most of my friends and the older crowd only played the faction and I grew tired of only facing a specific army. I was not satisfied with the that thought. When I started playing tabletop games again, I decided on warmachine and hordes. With that,I could at least play a faster style game while keeping myself in the scene of tabletop games. One of my best memories of a battle must have started with my friend picking up the Orks. I picked up Eldar because I wanted to play something that had elves in it at the time. My friend at the time already hated when I would correct his grammer, which brought on him speaking like the Orks the whole game. It threw me off the game so much that I lost. At the time, I had too much fun to care. It was a fun day either way. Because of that day, I eneded up making my Eldar my army of choice. The unfortunate fact is that I don't know anyone on this site. I am brand new to this type of thing and I am trying to make friends along the way. I tend to try and play using a bliztkreig style of play to maintain a board state to capture objectives and maintain control. Other than gameplay, I try to paint my models and tend to strip the pain off because I just like to paint. With that out of the way, I hope that I can make a lot friends here and learn even more about this wonderful game.
