As a Sisters player, i know there is no "ultimate list. " i also know that what works for one player doesn't neccessarily mean that it works for all players.

A list is only as good as it's author's experience. I've had my SoBs since 1998 and played in a handful of games.

Any list is open for revision if the list's author is open for suggestions.
I have enough sisters and support vehicles to fill out a 3,000 pt. list but i usually only field about 1600-1700 pt. depending on the mission and aggression level (this is still a new concept to me since i have just acquired a copy of the new rule book).
I have planned to add Penitent Engines and Repentias to my army not for any kind of active use but because they look pretty frickin' cool!

well, Without further ado My list for the Order of the Valiant Angel
*some addition may need to be done to the point cost but the list is sound i think

Canoness: 140pts
-Rosarius, Cloak of St. Aspira, Inferno pistol, Power Weapon, Jump pack

Squads 1-4: 130 pts (520)
Vet SS w/ bolt pistol and ccw, 8 bolter sisters, 1 flamer

Seraphim 1: 159 pts
Vet SS w/plasma pistol and ccw, 3 bolt pistols, 1 hand flamers

Seraphim 2: 195pts
Vet SS w/plasma pistol and ccw, 2 bolt pistols, 2 inferno pistols, melta bombs

Seraphim 3: 155 pts
Vet SS w/Plasma pistol and ccw, 4 bolt pistols

Retributor: 234 pts
Vet SS w/ BP and CCW, 4 multimeltas
transport: Immolator: 88pts - Multimelta and smoke launchers (cost added to squad)

EXorcist: 143 x 2 (286)
extra armour, smoke launcher

well that's it in a nutshell
any suggestions would be a help

I am a big fan of Meltas in the Sister squads myself, along with 2 Exorcists. As for the rest, it looks good to me.

Perhaps this should be in the armylist forum however? Tactics discuss the actual ways to play sisters regardless of the list, talk about pros and cons of various weapon configs, etc.

EDIT: Whoops, there are 2 tanks here :)

i must have clicked the wrong button, then. Anyway, as to tactics most of the time i play the "dig-in-and-hope-they-don't-have-barrage-weapons" strategy, when they do i will runup and try to kill the other players hvy weaps.

The only thing I'd suggest is for your cannoness. A S3 power weapon isn't that great, maybe try to upgrade it to a blessed weapon or eviscerator. Also maybe a book.

Sisters live (and die) at the 12-24 inch mark. Either they get to double tap their boltrers and eliminate the threat or they get to sit back at 24" and slowly pick enemy off. All their weapons are designed around this. Multi melta, flamer, plasma pistol, bolter...it's all close range weaponry.

I prefer to take meltaguns in a Battle Sister squad and give the vet sister superior a plasma pistol. That's how they take out tanks.

Exorxcists will just rock an opponent. The acts of faith are awesome. dominions in immolators are sweet. It can be a really nasty army if played right.
