Well, you SHOULD try to separate the review from the toxic SJW commentary, and actually talk to some people and maybe start to UNDERSTAND the lore, but I honestly doubt you can.

Fortunately, I doubt we'll ever see you on this board again.

I made a review of the Warhammer 40K RPGs. What do you think? Is there something I should change in the review?
Something I think you should change? The title for starters. Beyond the two minutes of this fourteen minute video you actually spend on pretending to review any of the 40k RPG's (and lets face it you don't, you vaguely mention some aspects of the systems used and thats it) your comment about not endorsing games workshop products unless they make changes that you think are appropriate is the real goal here.

This isn't a review, this is social justice white knighting and whinging at its most blatant.

In your "attempt" to summarize the plot of 40k, you grossly oversimplify elements and get others flat out wrong. You bring up stuff like the chaos gods and the Eldar, and how they are misunderstood, while conveniently leave out things like the fact that it was the Eldar empires hedonism and extreme hubris to enacting all pleasures with wanton abandon that gave birth to Slaanesh and destroyed their empire. (Forget the fact that Slaanesh is about over-indulgence.)

Or how about the fact that the Orks were an engineered race designed to fight the enemies of the Old Ones?

You completely, and I'd say intentionally, fail to mention the Dark Eldar at all. Its not terribly surprising, since they quite literally need to torture others in order to stop Slaanesh from feeding on their souls and killing them. Theres also the glossing over of the fact that the Tyranids seek to consume all life in the galaxy and have been doing so since their introduction (I mean the lore has only noted on multiple occasions how Tyranid hive fleets have stripped entire worlds of life and left them as barren rocks.)

By the way, the skull and crossbones motif that is common throughout the Imperium, most especially space marine chapters, predates nazi Germany and fascism by centuries. The knights templar were one of the first recorded groups to use it back in the 12th century, though its believed the jolly roger predates this. I'd wager that its more a recognition of lancer and dragoon regiments from the British army; which would make sense due to a focus on lightning strikes and wiping out command elements (tactics space marines are known to employ..)

All in all, if your going to review a product then perhaps try to actually review the product. Trying to paint up a poorly researched social justice commentary as a game system review is just insulting. On this board alone, I'm now the second of two people you couldn't fool; and looking at the comments from this video on youtube you didn't pull the wool over anyones eyes there either.

And while I do not hold my breath to you responding, do keep in mind that those who disagree with you are not fascists or nazi's for doing so. They do not sympathize with them, or defend them, or look up to them. You broad stroking the community, or claiming that it has a rampant fascist problem, is a disservice to us all and a show that your claim to being a member of the community for the last decade is just that: a claim and an attempt to garner a measure of respect. I've been a member of this community for almost 25 years, but I'm not asking or telling you to take what I say as gospel because of all those years. Take a step back and an honest, objective look at your video.

Since when do you have to ideologically agree with what you're role-playing as? I thought the whole point was to be someone you're not. Stop trying to tell us that fiction is harmful.
