I have this lingering voice in my head telling me to pick up a new project once I'm finished with my Ork super-heavy. I'm thinking CSM or atleast some renegades. Are the CSM and SM kits compatible to build a renegade force just at the beginning on the road to corruption? I'm thinking on adding some renegade AM aswell and pic up both catachan, tallaran, steellegion and cultist to build a rag-tag militia formed from deserters from all over the galaxy. What would you think about this? :crazy:

yea i built chaos force once using a combination of the two kits to make it look like they had recently turned, it was a god look, i say go for it!

With the militia I would stick to the plastic kits because it gives you more freedom to play around with it, sprinkle in some cultists with cadians and catachans to create a really random feel.
