ok so i got the skaven big box set thinggie and the on the sprues for the rat ogre's there is a gun and basicaly what are the rules for using the gun or does someone know where i can find the rules??

Posting official rules might land the might GW hammer on our heads.

If the rules are not in the Army Book or FAQ, which I assume you have already checked, then the gun is either decorative or will be given rules when the Army Book is updated.

I believe Mordheim has different rules for Rat Ogres from WHFB, so if you wished to homebrew your own that might be a god starting point.

Its pure decoration. Thanquols rat ogre has a ranged weapon but the generic ones do not
