This is an idea i've had for a while. People, just put up your favourite quotes, particularly if they're socially relevent.

If the thread gets good i'll sticky it.

Make sure to attribute the quotes as best you can.

I'll get it started with a few good ones I like personally at the moment:

I am mindful not only of preserving executive powers for myself, but for predecessors as well.

It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it.

Natural gas is hemispheric. I like to call it hemispheric in nature because it is a product that we can find in our neighborhoods.

The thing that's wrong with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur.

It was indeed...the quote was shortened and memorized in my European History class, mostly as a buzzword-type of deal. And it makes a nice pair with the next one on that list...

Here's a good one from Thomas Paine:

Right right. I see it quoted out of context so often, I felt obligated to defend the maligned Philosopher. He was very humanistic, in a way that was positive and strong, as opposed to "fluffy."
