Hello guys, I'm just curious about the plastic used by GW.
I've done and seen ppl get resin made parts and soften them by using a quick hot water dunk.
What about GW plastic, can the same be done to it?
Any help on the matter would be highly appreciated.

The GW plastic is like most other plastics in model kits.

It's polystyrene, you CAN soften it in hot water but the water has to be much hotter and you run the risk of melting the entire part.

It's safer to cut and pin if you are re-posing things I reckon

Yeah, the easiest and probably safest way to change it is to just cut and pin. If this is a problem with the actual casting then you should be able to take it back and swap it.
