Purge the unclean

Inquisitor log 3004-910 date 0123456:M41. Brother Inquisitor Lord Ravion location: zodiac II. Mission: recon on chaos warp portal and or destruction of such technology. Allowed amount of casualties: unlimited. Extra objective: kill any chaos lords/greater daemons.

Brother Ravion has just awakened from a long slumber in stasis to find a servitor holding his tunic and pants. Brother Techmarine Ezekiel then enters to inform brother Ravion that he is needed for a mission of the utmost importance. The mission was so important that the fate of the imperium was relying on him and a unit of especially trained space marines, dreadnought, and a famous chaplain by the name of brother Octavious who was throughout the galaxy by xenos and traitors alike.

“It’s time to proceed to the briefing lord brother Ravion” exclaimed Ravion’s gaunt acolyte “just down this hallway.” Ravion’s acolyte was named Brother Interrogator Lazarus who Ravion had grown quite accustomed too on past missions.

Brother Lazarus was quite useful in the field he never complained and always fought with valor and dignity. He was knowledgeable of almost every weapon imperial and chaos.

Brother Ravion enters through the towering door containing scenes of how the emperor saved mankind from the traitor Horus. In the room stood brother captain Bellator, brother chaplain Octavius and, brother sergeant Caleb. They were standing around a holo table the scene depicted was a chaos fortress located on zodiac II.

“Your mission is of the utmost importance too the imperium” states brother Bellator. “The fate of humanity rests in your hands.”

Many hours pass while they all discuss the mission objectives and details brother Caleb was discussing the men he chose and their skill set they also discussed their plan of attack they decided to drop pod out side of their radar then jump pack in and complete the mission.

Inquisitor log 3004-910 date 0123456:M41. Brother Grey Knight Inquisitor lord Ravion location: orbiting planet Zodiac II. Mission: recon on chaos warp portal and or destruction of such technology. Use of deadly force: allowed. Extra objective: kill any chaos lords/greater daemons.

Brother Ravion has just awakened from a long slumber to find a mindless servitor prodding to wake him with what used to be a set of fingers. It was holding his honorary tunic and pants. The voice of Brother Techmarine Ezekiel came through a vox speaker on its chest gives Brother Ravion a small briefing on the mission.

The mission would call for himself and retinue and also a unit of especially trained space marines, Grey Knights Brother captain Bellator, and a famous Black Templar chaplain by the name of brother Octavious who was feared throughout the galaxy by xenos and traitors alike.

“It’s time to proceed to the briefing lord brother Ravion” exclaimed Ravion’s gaunt acolyte “the meeting is in the reclusiasm.”

Ravion’s acolyte was named Brother Interrogator Lazarus who Ravion had grown quite accustomed too on past missions. Brother Lazarus was quite useful in the field he never complained and always fought with valor and dignity. He was knowledgeable of almost every weapon imperial and chaos.

Ravion didn’t really enjoy briefings because the past briefings he had he was forced to deal with sniveling human bureaucrats who didn’t understand the art that is war. This time he enjoyed the briefing mostly because he was with his brilliant Astartes brothers. Brother Caleb was discussing the men he chose and their skill set they also discussed their plan of attack they decided to drop pod out side of their radar then take land speeders in and complete the mission.

Brother Ravion spent many hours after the briefing preparing for the mission cleaning his weapons while intoning the litanies of cleanliness. A pungent smell of gun oil hung in air only to be replaced by ionized air which came from electrically charged crackle of Ravion’s power halberd. He made a habit of always discharging his weapons before he went into transport. When he was confident that he was ready he removed his wrist mounted storm bolter and powered down his halberd.
