Hi, just want to check my understanding on when these can be used and what you can do after them.

My problem arises when i fight my mates Demon Prince. He reckons you can shoot 'Wind of Chaos' - the ranged weapon shooting one, and then assault. Whereas I have always thought that a psychic 'ranged shooting' (not assault) power meant you had shot, and therefore given up your shooting round.

Who is right please?

Psychic shooting attacks count as assault weapon unless specified otherwise (BRB pg. 50 under the header: Psychic shooting attacks)
As Wind of chaos does not state otherwise it is counted as an assault weapon and he is allowed to shoot it and charge afterward.

Yes the above poster is correct. All shooting based powers count as firing an assault weapon the turn they are used. As WoC is used in the shooting phase it will count as an assault weapon. Hope this helps.

MC's can shoot twice and assault, and as they are all relentless it makes no difference if the psychic shooting attack is Assault or Heavy.
