i need to brush up on my knowledge of the horus heresy, but is it true that there are actualy some primarchs that were not located by the emperor (cant spell).

if so, how cool would it be if you could make your own SM chapter or Chaos legion and make a fluff story of how allthough never found by the emperor they still managed to become part of an army and get spotted out and gifted for there skills e.t.c

i think it would be pretty cool anyways.

Basically the 2 missing Legions are sort of this, but so little is known that they might have been undiscovered, or a lost/disgraced and destroyed/hidden and secret/corrupted records etc., basically these exist to make you own legion that may have been undiscovered by the Emporer, the main problem with this is how they got marines if the Emporer didn't find them, made using their genes by a lost human colony? At one point Warhammer fantasy man-god Sigmar was a lost Primarch, but I think this is no longer accepted.
