I need some help finding out if these rules are real so if anyone is a good researcher maybe they can help all I've found out is that the guy who made them (Matthew Plonski) does work for GW.

Nothing says you cant use them in friendly games with your opponents consent but just dont try to take them to a tournament (unless specifically allowed).

I must say that for fluff or player created datasheets that these are very well done. I think they would be great to fight against in an Apoc battle, if anything to see if they point totals for the models have been playtested. Overall I must say that they seem every well balanced at first glance. If anything modeling these would be alot of fun!

I modelled up Sanguinius a while back...I don't have a Blood Angels army anymore, but I kept the good Primarch around since he always struck me as the greatest of the lot. Might have to make a datasheet for him sometime...

Let alone Primach models...

I'm a fan of his Dante and his Lemartes, but his Sanguinus and Emporer are a bit small. The reason I like his Dante is that unlike every other version I've seen he doesn't look as if Midas and him have had a heavy petting session before hand.

Let alone Primach models...
They did a model of Russ once, no idea where you could get hold of it though.

Here is a link to some guy's BA gallery I was looking at months ago. This topic rekindled my memory for it, and here it is. The second and third pages have pics of both Sanguinius and the Emporer. The guy leaves no guides to making them, but they are still very nice.

They look quite good, but I can't help being a little disapointed regarding The Emperor and Sanguinus. They kinda lack the heroic grandeur that they have on that painting...

Odd I just looked at it earlier today. It's not all that impressive and is small by todays standards, but you get a feel of what he is suppose to look like.

Am I going to get in trouble for thread-necromancy? I sure hope not.

I just discovered this site/thread today, and figured I'd chime in.

I have never been an employee of Games Workshop, although I was a Techpriest (40k play tester) back when they still had those. I keep in contact with some of the developers and help out when I can.

I'm glad people like my rules for the daemon primarchs. I have played either with or against most of them. There is a new version, updated for Apocalypse and the Daemon codex, here (link). (Updated today since I just noticed a typo!) Some very old pictures of the models I use for the first four, based off of the Epic models and GW-US's conversion kits are here (link).

I'm still making new house rules and playing big games. We like our games to be more like the Apocalypse games you read about in White Dwarf and in the Apocalypse books and less like bring-n-battles. Very heavily themed, lost of special rules, and insanely large. We're running another one in two weeks, and the details are here (link). We're the guys that they mention in the Apocalypse book that rented an empty store in a mall for our game.

So, sorry for the threadcromancy. Let me know if you have any questions!

Matt
