@Jacobite - the EC were the only chapter allowed to display the aquilia on their armour. other than that, that had no fancy shizz until after the heresy.

@cccp_one your spot on with that but if you read the Horus Heresy books you will know what I mean. The other chapters are pretty constantly taking the piss at how the Emporers Children make their armour etc all shiny and flamboyant.
