My 1750pts

Vulkan He'Stan
Librarian

10 man sternguard (hflamer, flamer, 2 combi flamer, 2 combi melta) drop pod
10 man sternguard (hflamer, flamer, 2 combi flamer, 2 combi melta) drop pod
5 man sternguard (2 Flamers, 3 combi flamers) drop pod

5 scouts with snipers
5 scouts with snipers

Storm talon

Thunder fire
Thunder fire

Grey knight librarian

Grey knight strike squad.



Im coming into some cash at the end of the month and also looking to start tournaments.

So can you give suggestions on my initial list.

You have way too little melta to consider taking Vulkan, he isn't really worth it for 4 combi-meltas.

I would consider podding vulkan with a melta gun command squad, then change one of the sternguard squads to half combi-melta/half flamer so you can combat squad them.

lose the other sternguard squad and this should free up some points to drop pod a tactical squad, and if you lose a scout squad you could drop an ironclad as well. Add in a drop pod assualt squad with 2 flamers to round out to 5 pods.

Stormtalon and thunderfires are good choices and will do work.

Not sure about the librarian and GK, they could do well or pretty terribly but sounds like a fun army to play :)
