Hey there

Wondering if you guys can help me out, I've not managed to get a game in but this is something thats been bugging me for a while, What is the armour save of a Pegasus knight, I keep reading in odd places that its better than it was in previous editions. I however cannont for the life of me figure out why.

As far as i could make out, and still for that matter its a 3+ where is this extra point coming from?

Yes, for Pegasus Knights, it's still 3+, so that hasn't changed.

However, the save for having a Royal Pegasus has gotten better - it used to be a monstrous mount, now it just makes your hero/lord monstrous cavalry. The Royal Pegasus mount is waaaay better now, as it gives your paladins an extra wound, means your pegasus itself cannot be shot at (only the rider can be) and gives your rider +1 armour save for being mounted. This might be what people are talking about when they say that pegasi have gotten much better with the new edition. Normal Pegs only got the benifit of being fast cavalry - which is still cool, but doesn't make them more survivable.
