Anyone got any tips or colour schemes that are going to make my life easier? I really wanna get my HE painted so i need something thats going to look good without taking too long. I've done a few trail models and the results aren't encouraging.
I feel your pain. What finally worked for me was grey primer, which cut my painting time in half. Black was too dark of a base and I would use successive coats of paint to brighten the model and the detail was lost. Whereas white was too bright and they had a brand new look. Grey allowed me to achieve a darker feel to them while allowing the metals and gems to stand out. Hope this can be of help.
