Hello all,
I’m very new to this and could do with some advice on some scenery I’m making.
How would i go about getting a good finish on the buildings?
I’m trying to get a very red/orange desert feel.
The boxes are that kind of paper mulch cardboard, I painted it with mod plodge first.
I’ll add additional 3D features like windows and pipes but got no idea about washes etc.
All the metal work will be sprayed with a grey primer and then i was thinking black with fairly heavy dry brush with silver to make it look sand blown.
I’m assuming that there would be very little rust in that environment.
Any advice very appreciated.

I'm not a master terrain builder, but It looks like your surfaces have some texture to them. I think that's good to show some "Sand Storm" damage to them. I like the Look and the long ladder. Are you going to place this on a big base? I think that would pull the whole look together.
