I just have a quick question about the games workshop paints. Are they classified as an acrylic paint?

The reason why s because i'm going to paint an imperial guard armour company and i don't want to spend years putting on the first basecoat of paint, the kind of colour is a dark olive green and my local hobby and modeling shop stocks a range of difrent colored spray cans.

just a little help here so i don't make and expensive mistake. All help welcome, thanks :)

I have actually found that spray cans are a pain in the ass to use and they never put down an even coat, at least for me. I use an airbrush with Tamiya (sp) paints and then hand paint using GW. THe airbrush is more costly to start but you start to break even rather quickly.

The air brush makes camo patterns easier.
