this probably applies to other armies but im specifically asking about my ork army,

when a nob leads a group, does it have all the wargear the unit would have or does it have a nobz wargear specified in the nob profile?

does a warbiker unit lead by a nob simply have a nob with a warbike and all their wargear?

does a tankbusta unit lead by a nob have a rokkit launcher, bomb squigs and such?

and of course would a stormboy unit lead by a nob simply have a nob with a rokkit pack?

thanks for any help and these are all examples, you dont have to answer them all, just any special case and the general problem thanks!

My understanding is that the Nobs are upgrades to the boys so they retain whatever equipment that the origional boy had. conversely if for example you had tankbustas with rockets and upgraded 2 with tankhammers, you could pay the upgrade for the nob and he could wield one of the aformentioned hammers. As bikes/jumppacks etc are included in the wargear for the boys they are carried over when one of those boys is upgraded. Otherwise it wouldn't say that he could exchange weapon x for weapon y as he wouldn't have been able to get weapon x in the first place.
