Hi

I played a game of 40k last night against some orks, with my mighty Space Wolves. And got Destroyed!!!!. What are the rules for engaging Deff copters, they are the bane of my life and the rules aint to clear, What do I need to hit them, because they are vehicles and moving pretty rapid, do I go against the riders WS or is it like engaging a vehicle where it depends on how fast they are travelling when they assault me, any help here would be much appreciated.

Hey,

They are considered Jet Bikes.
See page 53.

Also, see turbo boosting on page p76 and relentless p76.

They are not vehicles and do not use the vehicles section of the rulebook.

If you still got questions after taking a look at those sections, just post em.

In melee, you use weapon skill. In shooting, use BS. Gets a cover if turboboosted.

Weaponskill my friend, they are bikes, not vehicles.

you only use how fast a unit is going if they do not have a WS and have armor value (speeders, rhino chassies, etc. 'Vehicles'. Bikes do not count as vehicles)
