Very nice stuff mate - really nice use of bits and plasticard. What clan you play?

The best looters in the ork race the DeathSkullz

That is why I have a looted Carnifex as a dreadnought, a walking defiler was going to be my looted Russ. Current project is a looted Monolith soon to be a my battle wagon "Morkolith".

My friends hate playing with me or showing me their newest addition to their army because soon I have one of their models all looted and in my army painted in their army scheme.

well why not? i can't really see orks looting a Monlith though....... the whole phasing out thing, but i wouldn't mind seeing these "looted" creations of urs ;)

also, about ur dreadnought, i'm guessing a defiler exhaust thing on the back, possibly Burst cannons on the legs, they look a little bit like them :D, random Tau bits on the joints, and maybe a sentinil cockpit, or something similar

You may have already seen the pics as I have seen them on many websites which is totally cool. Here is the build thread for it.

For the dreadnought the lower body is a Space marine dreadnought top turned upside down. The top part of the body is a IG sental turned upside down with plasticard to hide the gap. THe tall part is a Tau Ion cannon with a defiler exhaust mounted to it. The legs are up part of the leg is lascannons with the lower Tau burst cannons cut down and Tau sheild drones as the joint covers. The feet are smoke lauchers with IG dozer blades for toes and the back of the foot is Necron cannon tips from the monolith.

THis is going to someone else so I can't completely paint it as I can't match their paint scheme but I can put a basse color on it so all they have to do is add their klan colors and I'm sure he will give me a painted pic of it. So I'll get working on the paint.

How does one loot a Carnifex? a living creature...no comment, just wondering :victory:
To loot a carnifex da clever ork mek must do some things.

First hit carnifex with something heavy like a battle wagon.

Then use the power klaw to rip open da head and remove da brainy bits. Once that is done remove a brain from a grot or a nasty attack squig ,any good ork will have plenty of nasty ones, and put it in da carnifex as well as any brain control boxes that need to be hooked up for controlling da beast.

Then you add some orky improvements extra armor and some real guns and give it a proper paint job and your good to go.

The other way I have seen it done is the animated suit of armor where a carnifex is killed and the carnifex fleshy bits are cut away and replaced with mechanical stuff and a grot pilot is added.

Woah, that sounds awesome. But I doubt that it would work...

Also, why would anyone let a grot controll something like a carnifex?

Yeah, looks amazing, mate! Great work :)

And like already mentioned, scratch-built Dreadnoughts and Killa Kans look best. That's the whole idea of the Orks really. Any vehicle you convert/build should look a bit unfinished etc, since everyone knows Orks aren't known for sophistication :p

There are plenty of things that don't work in 40k - these an't alone but it is defintly one of the coolest. On pure style it gets away with it.

In other words "who cares if it doesn't work - it looks so dam cool"

Soz for being pedantic, but you cant loot a monolith (i play Necs and am very protective), and how on earth do u lot a carnifex!? thats just scary!
