Hi, I'm new to the Hobby and would like to slowly build up a daemons army.

I have some experience playing csm, and really like the fluff. as a result, please note that I don't want to mix Tzeentch & Khorn, Slaanesh & Khorne, or Tzeentch & Nurgle, simply due to the fluff behind it all!

my main opponents will be SM's and 'nids (zilla) so this army is made with them in mind - i'd like to build something more balanced in the long term tho.

HQ

BT - Might, Blessings - 275

Elites

Bloodcrushers x4 - 160 pts

Troops

Bloodletters - 3x squads of 8 (holy number of Khorne) - 384

PLaguebearers - 2 x squads of 7 (Holy number of Nurgle) - 210

(2 icons in the bloodletters, 1 in the PB's.) +75

HS

1 Nurgle DP, Flight, Might - 190

1 DP , Flight, Might, Hide - 190
Total - 1485

Thoughts? Bit slow I know - looking for some friendly advice!

nothing? what about squad size for BL's? 2 squads of 12?

or go for something like 3 squads PB's (7 each) and 2 of 9 BL's instead (breaks fluff, but, oh well)

also, DP config? i think the nurgle & generic combo is a good mix to cater for the random scenarios that will come up.

also considered soul grinders but i figure if i play a smart player (which i will) they'll struggle to last more than a turn. their main appeal to me is their usefulness in the first turn, but i see them losing badly to dreads, only having I3.
