I'm not sure I understand what the havocs are doing in such big squads and with rhinos. Typically, or at least the way I use them, is to sit back in cover and shoot across the board the whole game. I run them in 5-man squads w/o a rhino.

Agreed. Any time those Havocs are moving, they're using the points spent on their Autocannons. And the Warpsmith is more useful supporting the tanks.
