Hey there!

Right okay there are a few things we need to know first..

Like how many points is this list supposed to be? I am guessing 2k

And also you will make it easier for us if you put the points totals for each unit so we dont have to add it all up ourselves.. Makes the whole thing a bit time consuming...

Some quick observations though at the moment would be that all of your troop units are a little too large especially the 15 berserkers (You can only fit 10 into a rhino) And two units of terminators is a bit much at and the points could probably be better spent in other areas.

I dont know what weapons your havocs have either.. what role do you want them to take? Generally missile launchers are a good all rounder.

Ok please dont take this the wrong way I am more than happy to help you. But if you havent even read the codex I am going to find it really difficult to discuss building an army with you.

Have a read and learn how your units work then you can better decide what it is exactly you want from your army.

Make the Khorne berzerkers a unit of 20 drop the champion, and put kharn in the squad.
Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket.. You want to fight a war of attrition with expensive Khorne Berserkers? I dont see anything positive about that idea..

They will be extremely difficult to maneuvre and you will unlikely bring all models in the unit to bare in close combat..

You will also decimate every unit you hit by a long shot leaving them sitting ducks in EVERY turn in the game..

Sorry but this idea is a terrible and best avoided like nurgles armpit..

OK, your original list comes to 3,240 points...which is pretty huge. I had a bit of a play with the Codex and came up with this 2,500 point list, trying to keep the mixed Khorne/Nurgle flavour of your original one but making it neater and smaller:

HQ
• Khârn the Betrayer

165 points
• Daemon Prince - Wings, Warptime
155 points

ELITES
• 5 Terminators
- 5 pairs of lightning claws
200 points
• 5 Possessed - Icon of Khorne
160 points

TROOPS
• 8 Khorne Berzerkers
- Skull Champion with powerfist, Rhino
243 points
• 8 Khorne Berzerkers - Skull Champion with powerfist, Rhino
243 points
• 7 Plague Marines - Plague Champion with powerfist; 2 meltaguns, Rhino
256 points
• 7 Plague Marines - Plague Champion with powerfist; 2 meltaguns, Rhino
256 points
• 7 Plague Marines - Plague Champion with powerfist; 2 meltaguns
221 points

HEAVY SUPPORT
• 3 Obliterators

225 points
• 3 Obliterators
225 points
• Defiler - heavy flamer replaced with extra close-combat arm
150 points

TOTAL:
2,499 points

What about dropping those possessed for another 4 termies, Svart? I'm really biased against Possessed. :p

I in germany on a month with only a backpack, I know what that's like! XD
Ahh.. The motherland. /envy

Ahem.

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
THAT'S MORE LIKE IT, HOO-AHH!
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE

EDIT: Welcome to the world of chaos Marluk, if you ever need help with the God Khorne, I'm here to help! :D
Khorne is the coolest god, Learn this phrase:

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE.

And everything will be great :D

That list is great but I would make t hreechanges..

Get rid of the possessed for chosen with flamers and a rhino..

And find the points to give the Nurgle Daemon prince Mark of Nurgle

Put Extra Armour on the rhinos carrying berserkers..

It's a shame Possessed are so under-usable, Such nice models, looks nice in any display.

-On topic

Possessed for Chosen is a much better idea than more terminators, My bad, good call hesky.

That list should be really solid now. ^^

Aye, I was just thinking that Khornate Possessed aren't actually bad at all and would fit in nicely with the fluff feel of the list; Fearless with 3 Str 5 attacks, a 5+ Invulnerable save on top of the armour save (which makes them almost as good as Terminators when you think about it) and then you get the bonus Daemonkin effect on top. Yes, they're kind of random, but if you treat the Daemonkin effect as a bonus on top of their actual statline - which is actually pretty decent when you get down to it - I don't think Possessed are anything like as useless as people make them out to be, certainly not as close-combat units. That said, I'd much prefer to see them bring back being able to buy the different Daemonic attributes for Possessed as in the previous CSM Codex rather than this random approach, and give the random-attribute thing to Spawn, because...well...they're Spawn.

If you're dead-set on losing the Possessed, I'd suggest replacing them with:
• 5 Chosen - Icon of Chaos Glory; 5 meltaguns
150 points
...and drop a combi-melta on one of the Plague Champions.

Now, a 2,500-pointer is still a pretty damn big army to start off your career of Chaos carnage with, so how about this 1,500-pointer as a more reasonably attainable (and playable) force:

HQ
• Daemon Prince
- Wings; Warptime
155 points

ELITES
• 5 Chosen
- Icon of Chaos Glory; 5 meltaguns
150 points

TROOPS
• 8 Khorne Berzerkers
- Skull Champion with powerfist; Rhino
243 points
• 7 Plague Marines - Champion with power fist; 2 meltas; Rhino
256 points
• 7 Plague Marines - Champion with power fist; 2 flamers; Rhino
246 points

HEAVY SUPPORT
• 2 Obliterators

150 points
• 2 Obliterators
150 points
• Vindicator - Daemonic Possession, twin-linked bolter
150 points

TOTAL:
1,500 points

It's gone quiet here in work tonight, so I'm actually sitting here making up a text file of Black Legion army lists from 1,000 up to 3,000 points...it's strangely addictive.

It works for me except instead of kharn I have khorne lord on juggernaut w/ bloodfeeder or a khorne daemon prince , and really, nurgles armpit

kharn is irreplaceable SIR!

I also Hate that Juggernought Model... I'd rather get 3 of those Daemons' Equivalents. They look much nicer...

The Huge Shoulder pads on the Juggernought is what puts me off.

But in terms of points, The Lord on Juggernought would cost more, The Bloodfeeder is annoying because of Ones.. The Mount dosn't really let it have body guards, which is really what HQ's need, Beside the Monstrous Creatures (Like GD's and DP's)

I'd take Kharn 1st, DP 2nd, Then never a Lord on Juggernought. :\
