Like many have done in the past few hours - I saw jigplums' post over on WarSeer and thought that I'd give this site a try. It came very highly recommended by several WarSeer posters - where I post as Agrip. Varenus Denter.
Ummmm... despite being a RPG player since the last year of the decade that was the 70s, I started with the GW hobby in '91 - I'm pretty much a 40K player (Black Templars, Daemonhunters, Imperial Guard, World Eaters, and 'Nids) but can be talked into Fantasy from time to time. I've never played a game of LotR, but I've got a few miniatures of my favorite characters. I did the Heroquest thing, the Dark Future thing, and the Blood Bowl thing, too - fond memories there. I'd like to start Necromunda, but I have to get a gang together and that may have to way a few weeks before I can start that.
Anyway, IRL I'm a teacher (currently looking forward to the Christmas break), so there are times when I'm not as active as I'd like in the hobby, but that's what happens.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for the intro post.
