so I am just getting started in 40k and would like to build a competitive list to build in prep for next years ard boyz... I have read several threads leaning towards all bike, drop pod, or mech heavy... pretty sure 30 tactical squad is solid to purchase and start painting... here is what I am looking at so far:

MotF
Scouts+Tellion
3 Dreadnoughts
3 Tactical Squads at 10 each plus rhinos
2 Land Speeder Squadrons with 2 each
3 Predators

this is for 1750... so a bit more to go... would like to know if this list is on the right track...

I'm by no means an expert here, they'll chime later i presume but I can see that most of your units are set up for speed except for your dreadnoughts. Maybe a DP for each or some other transport for them would be a good idea. That's all i've got sir. :grin:

Go and check out the Ard Boyz lists on Yes the Truth Hurts.... You can fit ALOT more firepower into your list.
