the topic on primarchs has relit my passion for the nightlords so i through together an army list let me know what you think (prob loads of mistakes first chaos army spose to be raptor heavy)
Chaos lord pts 110
mark of chaos undivided, daemonic talons , Daemon fire, daemonic flight, furious charge

8x chaos marines pts 144
bolters AC with power weapon & bolt pistol ,mark of undivided meltagun move through cover

8x chaos marines pts 167
bolt pistol cc weapons AC with cc & power weapon ,mark of undivided, furious charge

5x raptors pts 200
meltagun AC lightning claws furious charge

plasma gun AC power weapon personnal icon plasma pistol furious charge

Pray to the Dark Gods for loads of terrian or Night Fight :) .

With the freebie Icons on your Chaos Marine squads and the Personal on the Aspiring Champion you have different places to bring the Furies in, which is a good thing.

No codex to hand so I can not check your pointage, with this list you are going to have to avoid taking casualties before you make close combat by really hugging the cover.

Horde armies (Orks and Nids in particular.) could be a bit of a mare.

Wouldn't you be better giving the furies a MCU for 5pts a squad. That way instead of 10pts for a single asp chump with personal icon you get both squads with marks AND therefore a free icon in each squad?

Also i would drop the P.Weapon off the "shooty" squad and get them a second melta gun or better yet make it 2 plasma guns in that unit.

I would defo drop the plasma pistol of the raptor sarge (don't wanna kill yourself or your charge range), then if you drop fire off your Lord you can upgrade his power weapon to lightning claws aswell (mmmm claws).

Also i would probably reduce the lord down to a Lieutenant and maybe look to changing him into a Ratboy/Ninjaboy it out:

Lieutenant: Inflitrate, Speed, Lightning Claws, Strength [110]
> 1st turn charge to tie down the enemy while your slower units get into position and very brutal to boot (5 S5 re-roll to wound p.weapon attacks).

sorry if it seems like i'm re-writing your list but apart from the lord swap the other changes are pretty standard.

I really like it, seems fluffy and effective if used correctly.

the only things I have to argue about is the Plasmagun in the raptor squad, they should alswyas be assaulting and never rapid firing so I would switch it out for another melta. and the ccw on the one A should be changed to a bolt pistol as it gives ou a ranged attack and the extra attack in cc.
