Night Haunter is alive

After reviewing prior accumulated data upon the primarch konrad kurze, as well as soul hunter....I have concluded the night haunter is alive.

My idea is simple, the assassination and killing of konrad was staged. M'Shen was killed some time before reaching konrad, Shaal by instruction of kurze was instructed to act as the assassin. Thus why shaal saw everything first hand as he was there, however shaal did not kill kurze, konrad simply gave to shaal the corona nox as proof to spread his death. Shaal then ran off with it while disguised as the assassin M'Shen, is then ambushed by eldar, and subsequently is trapped in a warp storm and sleeps for a century or two.

Why did konrad do this? For in essence konrad truly did die, he allowed the night haunter persona to consume him. Thus all his duties to the emperor and his imperium he severed, from the great crusade, to leading his legion, he abandoned it all not caring what was to become of it.

Konrad did die that night, metaphorically with the giving away of his corona nox, night haunter is the one who left that room that night.

Lord of the Night might also have proven that he died, I mean the novel is all about Sahaal getting an item to solidify his right to lead the Night Lords after Night Haunter's death. Other characters go on to talk about how Sahaal is not supposed to lead, they are; why would any of them be thinking they are going to lead if their primarch is still alive?

Also, Zso Sahaal was trapped in a warp storm/stasis lock for the better part of ten thousand years, not a mere century or two.

Alright so this right here helps to only blow your whole thing out of the water. Zso Sahaal, first captain and talonmaster of the Night Lords, supposed heir to the leadership of the legion, is not the Soul Hunter. Talos, the apothecary of first claw under tenth company is the Soul Hunter.

Sahaal cannot be the assassin, Talos went after her, and confronted her while Sahaal retrieved the carona nox and fled, only for his ship to be attacked by the Eldar and lost for ten thousand years.


So how can Sahaal have been the assassin? He couldn't have been in two places at once, Talos has no love for Sahaal and less reason to aid in faking something with him. And how do you explain the Eldar? They have even less reason to go along with something petty like that.

Wow, that sounds so out there and far fetched that I kinda-sorta want to see if you can find anything decent to back it up.

There is just one real problem I see with this pariah thing; Kurze, like all the primarchs, was a psyker to some degree. You can't be both a psyker and a pariah, pariah's are the anti psyker.


Please, for some (or even all) of these theories and facts of yours can you provide any references for the rest of us to look into so that we can maybe see them for ourselves?

No no no, just because you don't have specific pages you can give does not let you cop out from telling us where you get your information from. You might not have the exact location of your information but it came from somewhere, what are those references? I don't care if its just the name of the source it comes from, we are all big boys and girls, its not that hard to do some digging when we generally know where to look.


Also, once again Night Haunter could not have been a pariah, he had visions of the future the likes of which only a psyker can have. And where are you getting this void thing from? Please, lets get a reference on that one.



From what I seem to be gathering, you've done no research, you have nothing to back up your statements; its all just you making this stuff up and trying to pass it off as fact of some kind. The point behind references and citing your sources is so you can back up these statements, or else its just your opinion and not fact of any kind.

Now your just trying to squirm on while ignoring what I asked; lets get some of your references to back these things up.

If you can't even do that, then absolutely nothing you post here can be taken as anything more than your opinion and only that. I say this because I've been into this hobby going on thirteen years now and I have never once come across any references to 'the void'. So I ask, what are your references, your word alone cannot be taken on these things you need something more to back them up.

You want sources for how Ferrus Manus is dead, I can probably look through the Iron Hands article from index astartes for that one, or quote the novel Fulgrim, or probably the Iron Hand novel.

Maybe something about how the Eldar are responsible for the Emperor being able to launch the great crusade? I can probably find you something for that from collected visions.


See? I'm not giving you specific pages, but I am giving you some sources where you can find the information if it is searched for. That seems to be a sight more than what your giving any of us Lux. At least meet people halfway with this stuff, so that before they tell you your wrong and cite why, they get sources from you to check out and make sure you are wrong or right.

Alright, now we are at least getting somewhere here. So anyone who has read Nemesis, is there indeed mention of 'the void' and a 'black pariah' supposedly capable of killing the Emperor and channeling warp powers in some way?


Lux, got any references for the other stuff you've been going on about?

Alright, so lets run with this for a moment; say Night Haunter was a pariah. How do you explain the chaos gods able to whisper things to him? It might just be me, but all the stuff I have ever read is pariah's and the warp don't mix, they do not register in the warp or to those that dwell their.
