Hi all, just after any advice from the people who know. I'm new to the game and I'm building a Raven Guard army to mainly fight the Tau. I love the van vets models with lightning claws and I've got ten but can't decide on the assualt weapons to go with. For pure looks I'd love to take ten with Claws accompanying Shrike but I realise this might be stupid against a lot of battle suits (my mates Tau army is usually the Farsighted Enclave). Any advice would be much appreciated. Also I just got some assualt termies and I have the same dilemma. All in all, what kills battle suits more efficiently?! Oh...and that riptide thingy bad-arse scary thing

welcome to heresy! I'd point you towards gravguns and to assault. if you can get them in cc, you have won, regardless of the weapon you use. it's getting there, thats hard!

Welcome! Check out the tactics threads would be a great start! But generaly CC against Tau. Raven Guardians? Deepstrika and scout should get you up close faster than he can choose targets.
