Hi, I'm an ex-Ork player. Just got into BA - seems really cool. Any comments for these aggressive assaulty lists? Not super competitive, but it'd be great to win a few.

I'm liking Dante for his tactical special rules and his HQ nerf, expensive but looks to be good in the clinch. I heard packing 2x meltas was smart on my assault squads. I also heard that shooty Baal pred's are "fun" and very useful as anti-infantry, anti light vehicle. I know my only anti armor comes in the form of meltas/bombs, so any comments?

I've never been a fan of Meltabombs due to the problems of Walkers. A Dreadnought can wade into your Assault squads with virtual impunity. For only 5 points more per squad you can replace the Meltabombs and power weapon with a Powerfist. so if you lose the Infenus Pistol off the Sanguinary Guard then you can buy 2 Powerfists for both your Assault Squads.

Just a thought.

I'd suggest dumping the Melta Bombs to give the Sanguinary Guard a power fist. Nothing as annoying as getting into HtH with a dreadnought and realizing you can't actually hurt the damned thing.

Find someway to give the SP a power weapon so that he can add some extra oomph to a subsequent round of CC.
