With the new Space Marine Codex out i'm curious how many new Chapters have been formed using only Primaris Marines. Particularly if there are any new Blood Angels descended Chapters aside from the Knights of the Chalice that were revealed on Warhammer Community. Anyone with the new codex care to share the info??

Short version: Not while they sell.

@Lord of the Night: I think you've forgotten their Special Snowflake status. Codex Space Marines is the wrong codex to answer this question. There are a few new Primaris-only chapters noted (in the Dark Imperium novel as well), but not so much for the Blood Angels. Baal is only mentioned because Guilliman happens to grace it with his presence. :wink2:

From what we DO know, the sons of Sanguinius were nearly wiped out by the Tyranids before Guilliman got there, including 4 Chapter Masters getting eaten (surprising absolutely no one, despite the carnage everyone with Special Character status will likely survive anyway). This means what survives of them will probably be rebuilt on a Primaris foundation.

It also means Gabriel Seth might get to play with a full Chapter now.
