New player here, need critisism on army. Dont really know what i'm doing so please let me knowww.

For your troops, I would definitely give them rhinos, Khorne Berzerkers never seem to last very long without a rhino or land raider. I've never actually used Plague marines, but they are pretty tough, however I would still give them a rhino for the sake of it anyway.

Your terminators would also benefit from a transport, so a Land Raider for them I would say.

Raptors I've always personally swayed away from, because they never used to last for me, the always seemed to die before they could do anything. I would always tend towards using Bikers as opposed to Raptors, with the benefit of Toughness 5 when they move at max, they are pretty cool.

Your heavy support looks good!

I'm confused with your demon prince, you gave it mark of tzeentch yet you only gave it one physcic power. If you give a demon prince or sorcerer mark of tzeentch they get to use two physcic powers. I also doubt that plague marines have a skull champion, other than that marneus has it very much covered.

yeah now you mention it, i was worried the extra 30odd points for bolt of change would tip me over the edge on points, baring in mind that i figured i'd need to stick rhino(s) into the mix. IDK.

Did i say Skull Champion? I ment plague champion ^-^

I think if I was gonna change this, I would take the terminator lord out, allowing you a spare 170pts. I would then use this 170pts for some bikers, then I would drop the raptors for a Land Raider if you can afford it..

Its a tough list to change to be honest, but don't feel as if we're telling you what to do, cause if you want to get the raptors to use, get 'em its your army. The models are awesome I will agree, especially the Lord with Jump Pack and Lightning claws.

both need a rhino cause they gonna die really fast and give the plague marines some weapons, melta gun or plasma gun, depending on what you're hunting

with a defiler, always give him a extra close combat weapon instead of the reaper auto canon. and it depens on how you gonna play with it, if you want it full close combat, 2 extra CCW and then run all the time till you get into an enemy

yep, there you go, a good chaos player will look at the marks, and use them as they are made for ^^ there you go :p its a nice tip, for a beginner :p

Some sound advice has been given already, but I shall chime in with what I have! :)

Berzerkers: Make them 8 in number, to please Khorne (and anything over that is generally overkill :p), and hand them a Rhino.

Plague marines: Fine as is, but hand the Champion a power fist, and issue them 2 meltaguns or 2 plasma guns, and mobility is key. Rhinoes everywhere! :)

I would also consider dropping the terminators and lord for more troops, either berzerkers or plague marines (seing as that's what you're going with. Anything will work, really.)

The Daemon Prince with Mark of Tzeentch would be, to my consideration, the best Daemon Prince with the current configuration: Wings, Warptime, Wind of Chaos. For 205 points, you will get a mean killing machine. Take two! :)

For the defiler, they always work best in 2 or more. And best configuration is generally 2 close combat weapons: If you're not shooting anything with the battlecannon, you're fleeting for close combat. Keep in mind, you can only shoot the ordnance weapon if you so choose, not the other ones.

Also, I would opt to hand at least one meltagun to the raptors, and have them flying behind your rhinoes. That way, they can surge forward when the inevitable charge comes around, and help with taking out either high-toughness monsters or removing a transport from the weak prey within, allowing you to throw your Berzerkers in there.

I like this list alot better than your first one! On the biker champion take a power fist instead of a plasma pistol!!! Happy Gaming!:biggrin::biggrin::mrgreen:

your new list looks awesome dude, and you have 24 points to spend on something, liiiikke a mark lol, give them mark of slaanesh and they just gonna kick ass, take off the plasma pistol, and take a power weapon instead, not a power fist, cause you would be wasting the initiative 5 and they're only 4 of them, so you want to kill max stuff before you get it

the defiler is good, when you know how to use him, but most of the time, poeple are scare of it, when they shouldnt xD so it gets kill after second turn, a good thing to do, is bring, 2 or 3 defiler in the same game, 1 is shooty and annoy the enemy, the other(or 2 others) runs toward the enemy and try to kill vehicule like landraider xD or squad that can be annoying(like a devastator squad for exemple)
