Yeah ok ouchies, just worked out the cost of my chaos termy lord plastic model yes! its the new model, but also have the new dex this is his stat line and wargear

-Termy armor for +1 attack +2/5+ saves
-mark of khorne for +1 attack
-dual lightning claws for 10 +1 attack/reroll wounds
-personal icon

for a grand total of 145 points for WS6 with 6 attacks reroll wounds 7 on the charge no risk of hurting himself with daem weap and hes in termy armor...for 145 points...something is just wrong with that... also the fact that you can have on the field at the same time, a DP a lord and a greater daemon for about 400 points

EDIT: please don't post individual option costs or full statlines as GW takes exception to this

I never noticed WS6, and didn't realise chaos armour still gave the +1 attack, nice, can't wait to get my dex now, finally a cheap powerful lord

damn i think this was intentional to make the Lord better than the Space Marine Force Commander without resorting to deamon weapon or deamon Prince mutation, i heard a lot of people whining about how powerful Space Marines Masters and Grey Knight Grandmasters were and it makes sense from a fluff point of view right? the Chaos Lord is soooo much older and more experienced in fact, with minimal wargear, i think he can take on even a Dark eldar Archon

Actually, nothing in the book says anything about term armour giving a bonus attack at all. The lord you have described would have 5 attacks (6 charging). Term lord are a nice buy however and are very effective for their points.

Look at the chosen termies wraith they get+1 attack to their profile because of the armor, why the lords termy armor wouldnt doesnt make sense when that is a standard stat of the terminator armor
Doesnt matter for what or for who termy armor gives +1 attack as well as the armor save makes it so you can fire heavy weapons and rapid fire weapons and still assualt, its stated as apart of the general wargear i believe as well as i said before the chaos terminators also still benifit from the +1 attack granted by the armor so why the lord would not makes no sense

actually, come to think of it DA and BA terminator armour no longer gives the bonus, I just remembered, also isn't the +1 attack on termis because they get upgraded to champions?, cus I'm sure last time I looked they had 1 attack, thats why there so friggin cheap

Because Terminators are veterans, just like Chosen-- it'd make sense that they get an extra attack. It's really to represent the fact that they can fight just as well AS IF they were double-armed with a combi-bolter and power sword in terminator armour, I think.

Chosen still have 1 base attack :( But what ever the meaning i guess chaos termy armor doesnt give +1 attack anymore, i admit i was wrong
lol what ever the reason even with 5 attacks the chaos lord is still pretty wicked for 145 pnts, but i like the fact how now you really need to use your hq's wisely and have buddies with your hq's now to keep them alive and used well since they're little easier to kill now
