So my Blood Ravens are taking a beating in the current league (1750, "friendly" [really means competitive]), so setting them aside for a bit, I took all the extra Astartes that were taking up space and tossed in the bowl with Pine Sol...stripped thwm clean, and with the addition of a couple boxed sets and some misc leftover bitz, I'm going to have a brand new, and fully painted army next week:

Iron Snakes Chapter!
1750 points

Librarian
Venerable dread
4 Tactical Squads (10x marines/squad)
2 Assault Squads (10x marines/squad)

Everything was stripped Friday, assembled Saturday, primed and basecoated Sunday (and a lot of the gruntwork is done for the painting.)

And the cool part, my wife is helping me get them painted. Yeah, she loves painting minis too (and is reading Brothers of the Snake currently).

Is that cool or WHAT?

A complete army in a week, even with two dedicated people working on the minis, it would be one serious achievement!

Best of luck and keep us posted!

Welcome Brother-Snake.

Having collected Iron Snakes for a long time, and having read Mr Abnetts latest work i think the Apothicary trait and probably the true grit one too represents them best.

Good Luck

That's awesome. I have tried getting my wife into painting as well. No go unfortunately.
