I’m pretty new to the game and wanted to see how this army list/strategy may fair. This is not a competitive list (just playing for fun).

General Strategy: Combine the Libarian, Brother Captain Stern, Draigo with the paladin(s) into one squad. Have one squad of terminators in the Stormraven. When the game begins use the personal teleporter on the dreadknight to shunt towards the enemy. With Nemesis strike formation try and deep-strike terminators that are in reserve on the first turn. In psychic phase have librarian cast invisibility, bother captain stern cast sanctuary, and Dragio cast gate of infinity to deep strike paladin squad near enemy deployment zone (and hopefully still survive). Stormraven will be used to transport terminators, as well as anti-armour/tank killer. The paladin squad can also use Gate of infinity and the stormraven’s locator beacon to teleport around the battlefield if necessary. The librarians Nemesis Warding Stave gives the paladin unit 1+ on deny the witch rolls, while the brotherhood of the psykers rules also gives the unit +1 to deny the witch rolls. Furthermore, with the librarians psychic hood, the unit will receive an additional +1 to deny the witch if the opposing psyker has a ML of 2 or less; giving the unit the potential to deny the witch on rolls of 3+. Combined with sanctuary, force and/or hammerhand, the additional attacks from the brotherhood banner, feel no pain from Narthecium, and potentially invisibility-the paladin unit should be somewhat unstoppable.

Downfalls: Low model count (does have the benefit of not having to spend a ton of money on models/figures). Mishaps in deep-striking paladin squad could cost a lot of points (or getting instantly killed from a demolisher attack).

Alternatives: Could replace the Stormraven’s auto-cannons with twin linked plasma cannons or lascannons for free-not really sure what the best configuration is. Could also replace the librarians Nemesis Warding Stave, Master craft, and Digital weapons for the Soul Glaive for the same amount of points- but thought that the Adamantium Will that you get from the Nemesis Warding Stave was a better option.

General Strategy: Same general strategy as before. Combine the Librarian and Grand Master with a squad of 5x terminators. Have the squad of 6x terminators in the Stormraven. When the game begins use the personal teleporter on the dreadknight to shunt towards the enemy. With Nemesis strike formation try and deep-strike terminators that are in reserve on the first turn. Hopefully the dreadknight and deep-striking terminators will put some pressure on the opponent.

With the librarian having 4 Points in Scantic (and potentially 1 more from the warlords traits table), good chance of getting gate of infinity (also can re-roll warlord traits due to NSF). In psychic phase have librarian cast GOI and Grand master cast invisibility/shrouding (if obtained from discipline), and deep strike towards enemy. This unit can use the Stormravens locator beacon to teleport around the map using GOI later in the game. Stormraven will be used to transport 6x man terminator squad, as well as anti-armour/tank killer. The librarians Nemesis Warding Stave gives the paladin unit 1+ on deny the witch rolls, while the brotherhood of the psykers rules also gives the unit +1 to deny the witch rolls. Furthermore, with the librarians psychic hood, the unit will receive an additional +1 to deny the witch if the opposing psyker has a ML of 2 or less; giving the unit the potential to deny the witch on rolls of 3+. Additionally, with the grand master using the soul glaive in combination with force/hammerhand he has 5x attacks (charging) at strength 7 with rerolls on all failed to hit and to wound, and should be able to instant kill most multi-wound creatures.
