Ok so i'm getting back into my chaos marines army, and have 0 idea as to where to go with getting to 1k since my old list I don't really like (it had bikes and I have realized they aren't as good as I would like, there was also a dreadnought which I really like but i'm not sure how to fit it in)

So this is basically what I have so far.

Your list is definately on the right track, here. The Daemon prince is fine-ish as is, but would benefit a lot from Mark of Nurgle. The CSM could use a Rhino as well, and the champion benefits more from a powerfist in my opinion.

'Zerkers are perfect, but the points are off. That unit costs 243 points

A defiler can work fine, but they work better in pairs. So adding another defiler is definately a good way to go, as a lone defiler will probably get shot down quite quickly. And the best way to go would be two close combat arms, yes.

You seem to be a bit lacking in the anti-tank department, so adding some melta would be a good way to upgrade.

So, to put it in a short list for upgrades:
Mark of Nurgle on prince
Powerfist & Rhino for CSM
Fix point cost on Berzerkers
2 CC arms on Defiler
-To add:
2nd Defiler
Maybe a squad of plague marines or a squad of 10csm, with 2 melta's.
Maybe a termicide unit (3 terminators w\ combi-melta's)
Maybe a pair of Obliterators.

I agree with what Cruor said.

I think that a Power Weapon for the CSM's should be fine, but a Power Fist would be better should you have the option to change it. It is vital they have a rhino though.

A squad of Plague Marines would be a good way to go

-Champ w/ Power Fist
-Rhino

A pair of Obliterators are a must
Some termicide could be a cheaper way to slip some anti tank into a 1k list

I run a 1,500 point army, and a squad of plague marines is in it just like that! They work great!k:

I love my Dreadnoughts and always play at least one, a Rhino for the CSM's would be good two and maybe buy a few daemons with any change.

Another Demon Prince! MoN, Wing, and Warptime and let the two of the rampage around the battlefield. Don't add anything to the defiler, and consider adding one Oblitirator.
